 Undefeated heavyweight world champion Deontay Wilder announced that he will fight unbeaten (27 – 0) top contender Luis Ortiz for the WBC World Heavyweight Title, live on SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING on Saturday, November 4 in an event presented by Premier Boxing Champions from Barclays Center, the home of BROOKLYN BOXING in New York. Luis Ortiz was unable to attend due to flight cancellations in Florida due to the hurricane.  

Deontay Leshun Wilder : alias – The Bronze Bomber, was born in 1985-(10-22) ,and is now 31 years old. Deontay collected his 37th knockout and improved to 38-0 when he starched Gerald Washington in the fifth round in front of his hometown fans at the Legacy Arena in Birmingham, Alabama, on February 25. Deontay is very proud of his KO percentage – which is a super high 97% of fights won by a KO !
