What does a Dollmaker, a nun, a number of orphaned girls and a possessed creation have in common? All great ingredients for a stylish horror film directed by David F. Sandberg – photo below :
James Wan, the producer of the 2014 film “Annabelle”, and this prequel, appeared via a video delightfully thrilled about the continued collaboration with Film Independent’s Los Angeles Film Festival. The cast, and the director, turned out for a full-house screening at The Theater at The Ace Hotel in downtown Los Angeles – a very apropo Spanish gothic style theater to show the film to an audience completely absorbed into the experience. Insightful Q & A followed and concluded a memorable evening in Down Town LA. A welcome thrilling time with The LA Film Festival.
From New Line Cinema comes “Annabelle: Creation,” with David F. Several years after the tragic death of their little girl, a doll maker and his wife welcome a nun and several girls from a shuttered orphanage into their home. They soon become the target of the doll maker’s possessed creation, Annabelle.
