Super Bowl LIX wasn’t exactly the nail-biter everyone expected, with the Philadelphia Eagles dominating the Kansas City Chiefs from start to finish, leaving little room for drama on the field. This Super Bowl wasn’t just a decisive win for the Philadelphia Eagles — who steamrolled the Kansas City Chiefs with a 40-22 victory — it was also a night packed with fashion statements, unforgettable ads and next-level celebrity drama.
From Taylor Swift getting booed in the stands to Kendrick Lamar using the halftime spotlight to take shots at Drake, the internet had plenty to talk about. And let’s not forget the NFL’s questionable new scoreboard, which fans absolutely roasted.
Tom Brady and Snoop Dogg— two legends in their own right — delivered a PSA called “No Reason to Hate,” which turned out to be a bit ironic. Once it debuted, social media became flooded with people expressing how much they, well, hated the ad. The spot was for billionaire Robert Kraft’s Foundation to Combat Antisemitism, and featured the duo trading barbs in tight close-ups: “I hate you because we’re from different neighborhoods.” “I hate you because you look different.” “I hate you because I don’t understand you.” It ended with Snoop saying, “Man, I hate that things are so bad that we have to do a commercial about it.” It seemed that a large number of viewers agreed. Philadelphia Eagles’ QB Jalen Hurts was named Super Bowl MVP after his team won the Lombardi Trophy in a dominant 40-22 game that ended the Kansas City Chiefs’ dreams of a historic three-peat. The Eagles made sure the “green confetti was falling at the end,” sacking Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes a record six times and forcing three turnovers, including a pick six for rookie birthday boy Cooper DeJean.
Louisiana native Jon Batiste sang the national anthem before the game, and Uncle Sam= (Samuel Jackson) intro’d Kendrick Lamar’s halftime show, which trolled Drake heavily and included songs with SZA and Serena Williams dancing.
President Trump met with the families of victims of the New Year’s Day attack in New Orleans, Taylor Swift cheered on Travis Kelce, and Jon Hamm and Bradley Cooper introduced their favorite teams. President Trump and his daughter Ivanka got a big cheering ovation at the big game:In New Orleans there were a lot of amazing VIP Parties, like: the Taste of the NFL, presented by Frito-Lay, Quaker, and The PepsiCo Foundation, that was a celebration of food, football, and philanthropy, all to support national nonprofit GENYOUth’s mission to tackle food insecurity among children in Louisiana and across the nation. Held at The National WWII Museum in New Orleans, the Super Bowl’s largest philanthropic event featured chefs Andrew Zimmern, Carla Hall, Lasheeda Perry, Tim Love, Mark Bucher and over 30 other culinary talents, all of whom prepared their own signature dishes to raise funds to help end student hunger.

The 38th Annual Leigh Steinberg Superbowl Party, is put on by Legendary Sports “Show Me The Money” Super Agent, Leigh Steinberg, and his #1 party is always the best of all the Super Bowl parties and special events. This year his annual Superbowl party was in New Orleans the day before the big game, at The New Orleans Jazz Museum, where proceeds of the event benefited the Urban League.
Leigh is a legendary Super Sports Agent that started the careers of many great athletes from all major sports! The sports agent movie role that Oscar Winning actor Tom Cruise played in the 1996 movie “Jerry Maguire” is based on the real life and amazing career of Leigh Steinberg! In the movie when the Oscar Winning Best Supporting actor Cuba Gooding Jr. tells Tom Cruise to “Show Me the Money” that is all based on Superstar Sports agent Leigh Steinberg, who we interviewed at last year’s Super Bowl in Las Vegas!
Held every year on the Saturday afternoon before the Big Game, the event takes advantage of the influential crowd who gather around Super Bowl, and brings that crowd together in an environment designed for networking, relationship building, and the support of philanthropic endeavors. Leigh creates an experience that allows his guests to truly connect with each other, forge new connections, and explore how they can do better at doing GOOD.
Ike’s Love and Sandwiches @The Leigh Steinberg Super Bowl Party in New Orleans:
This year a good friend of ours was at the Superbowl in New Orleans, and at the Leigh Steinberg Party. Leigh Steinberg himself was nice enough to give our friend Ike a VIP Invite! Ike is the founder and owner of Ike’s Love and Sandwiches, who has 1007 different types of amazing high quality premium sandwiches, with locations across the USA. On our show our TV Show Host: Margie Rey has interviewed Ike for about the 12th time over so many years, and you can see him @The Leigh Steinberg Super Bowl Party in New Orleans on this show!
Ike has stores all across the country, and now has a store in New Orleans!
My personal favorite sandwich of Ike’s is the Matt Cain, which actually has won an award for Best Sports Sandwich at the ESPY Awards! Matthew Thomas Cain is an American former professional baseball pitcher who played his entire Major League Baseball career for the San Francisco Giants from 2005 to 2017.
Ike says: “Ike’s is about love first, then sandwiches, which is why we take extra special care to make sure there are amazing options for every kind of eater; meat lovers, vegetarian, vegan, halal, and gluten-free.”
Some of the past attendees make up a “Who’s Who” of celebrities from the worlds of Movies, TV, Music, Business, Tech, Health, Politics, and Sports: Baseball legend and New York Yankee World Champion: Alex Rodriguez:
Each year’s event sports a unique thematic lens, a new style, and fresh programming based on the host city of the Super Bowl. But the traditions of the annual event continue to hold strong:
-
The Brain Health Summit
-
The Steinberg DeNicola Humanitarian Awards
-
A spotlight on a selected non-profit organization, with silent auction funds raised to support their cause
-
Thematic social lounges for networking and connection building.
SUPERBOWL VIEWING PARTY
For those that could not make it to New Orleans, the best Party in the Los Angeles Area was held at PINSTRIPES Bistro – Bowling – Bocce off of Topanga Canyon on 21851 W. Victory Blvd. in Canoga Park. It was really an amazing Superbowl Watch Party! There were multiple TVs from every angle to watch the game, with the Event starting at 3PM, and Kickoff at 330PM. It was a real Superbowl feast, with full bar, draft beers, and Bandero Tequila was giving free shots to the guests:
For the guests there were tables of all sizes, and nice lounge seating. This location offers a unique variety of entertainment and events every day of the week. Enjoy their made-from-scratch Italian-American cuisine during Saturday & Sunday Brunch with the family, happy hour after work, or a night of Bowling and Bocce. You don’t find Bocce Ball nowadays as it is a bowling type of game going back to the 1960s! For more info on this great restaurant and sports bar: watch our interviews from this location, and go to: https://www.pinstripes.com/topanga
- There were some interesting and in-depth interviews that I did at this amazing Superbowl Viewing Party, with a lot of amazing coincidences that you can watch on this show: 1st. I interviewed a singer who won an award at the World Entertainment Awards, where our news staff just happened to be at- just last weekend- 2 days before the Grammy Awards, at the Writers Guild Theater in Beverly Hills: The 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th big coincidences were when we were walked in to this Superbowl party- our table happened to be right next to the PR legend: Jodi Jackson- who just happened to do the PR about 7 years ago for a concert at the Wiltern theater staring the Legendary Award winning Singer and Songwriter: Don McLean- where Jodi invited our show to film the concert and do interviews, as part of the celebrations for the 50th Anniversary of Don’s classic award winning song: American Pie- and to add to the amazing odds and even bigger coincidence- only 2 nights ago at the Avalon Theater in Hollywood- at a the Movieguide Awards- we had interviewed Don McLean- and part of this interview was talking to Don about his 50th Anniversary of America Pie at the Wiltern theater- that we happened to be at! Unbelievable! Then the 6th big coincidence was when we interviewed Richie Marcello, whose name is almost identical to our cameraman- Richie Marcella- only 1 letter difference! When I interviewed the former rock star: Richie we learned about his hit reality TV show: Treasure King. Richie Marcello, “The Treasure King” has sold more Treasures than any individual in the industry from pop culture modern art, to Whitney Houston’s famous glass piano, to the Greatest Hollywood memorabilia, to priceless museum artifacts from around world. Richie Marcello, “The Treasure King” has sold more Treasures than any individual in the industry from pop culture modern art, to Whitney Houston’s famous glass piano, to the Greatest Hollywood memorabilia, to priceless museum artifacts from around world.
Larger-than-life-collector Richie Marcello takes us on a wild ride in his hunt to buy and sell valuable treasure and hard to find Hollywood memorabilia.
Richie Marcello is a modern treasure hunter, but instead of seeking chests filled with doubloons, he’s searching for items from Hollywood history. He scours the globe for museum-caliber pieces and rare memorabilia — such as the Gen. Lee car from “The Dukes of Hazzard” and R2D2 from “Star Wars” — already in his collection — that he can buy and sell. Because he could lose hundreds of thousands of dollars in a single sale if things don’t go his way, Marcello has assembled a team of associates that he calls the Gallery Girls to help separate the valuable from the trash. The group includes music memorabilia expert Georgina, who has spent most of her life on stage and screen; strong-minded Philadelphian Kristen, who is the one Richie turns to when a job needs to get done; and sci-fi specialist Amber, the head nerd — who was viral-video sensation Obama Girl in 2007.
We all had a great time at PINSTRIPES for their Superbowl Party, and we look forward to taking you there again!
