On former President Donald Trump’s social media platform: Truth Social (that he started and now owns) he said he was “shot with a bullet that pierced the upper part of my right ear. I knew immediately that something was wrong in that I heard a whizzing sound, shots, and immediately felt the bullet ripping through the skin. Much bleeding took place, so I realized then what was happening.”
Donald later thanked everyone for their prayers: “Thank you to everyone for your thoughts and prayers yesterday, as it was God alone who prevented the unthinkable from happening. We will FEAR NOT, but instead remain resilient in our Faith and Defiant in the face of Wickedness.” He also said he looked forward to addressing the country at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, only 2 days after he was shot, starting tomorrow- Monday!
There was a perfectly centered video with good audio that showed multiple popping sounds that can be heard before Donald grabs his right ear. Donald handled it so well that it looked like he was just swatting away a fly from his ear. Secret Service agents quickly rushed the stage, collapsing on top of Donald to protect him from any further shooting from the gunman, and then someone yelled out “shooter down,” and the Secret Service agents let Donald stand up. The presumptive Republican presidential nominee can be seen bleeding from the area around his right ear and can be heard asking Secret Service agents to get his shoes as they start to rush him away to his convoy. 
Donald was bleeding from the head after a barrage of bullets flew through his rally when Secret Service agents gave the go-ahead that it was safe to move from the stage. Then he was telling his Secret Service Agents: “Wait, wait, wait!” as they were encircling him in a protective bubble and helped him to his feet. Donald, his face smeared with blood, forced his right fist through a tangle of agents’ arms. He raised it high into the air before pumping his fist. “Fight!” he mouthed to the crowd and cameras as he pumped his arm sharply three times, in a sign of undeniable defiance and assurance that he was OK. The gesture sent the crowd cheering, with many rising to their feet. “We gotta move, we gotta move!” an agent shouted. The moment was an extraordinary illustration of his raw political instincts and of how keenly aware he is of the images he projects. Even during unimaginable chaos, he stopped and delivered his message, creating iconic photographs and video that are sure to become an indelible part of history! “The energy coming from the people there in that moment, they just stood there. It’s hard to describe what that felt like, but I knew the world was looking, I knew that history would judge this and I knew I had to let them know we are OK,” he said. He has always paid close attention to imagery, aware of his facial expressions, his clothing and camera angles during interviews. 
Donald Trump then raised his fist defiantly to the crowd, which has now become an historical and iconic photo, and has become a rallying cry as Donald heroically yelled out “fight” to let his supporters know he is okay. This emotional and iconic photo has made Donald Trump look like a hero- overcoming being shot, because if the bullet was just a few millimeters inward he would have been shot right through the head, and that for sure would have killed him. As a true champion fighter with his defiantly raised fist, the blood on his ear, and face, and still holding his red MAGA hat in his hand, with the Secret Service agents clamoring to push him off stage to safety, and most importantly the United States of America flag waving in the background right behind him with the beautiful blue sky: made this a beautiful photo that will go down in history- be a symbol of fighting back, and of Donald Trump being a Warrior, and true and strong leader of the Republican party and the American people, that may even bring both sides together to solve our problems! This is turning a tragedy into something positive.

So for this amazing and beautiful photo we like to give credit and thank Associated Press photojournalist: Evan Vucci, who has covered former President Donald Trump for years, but what occurred on Saturday July 13th, 2024 was a time stopping moment in history, and the photo that he took could also have political implications from many directions — as indelible images often do in the days and years after seismic events happen. Time magazine has put it on its cover: “A legendary American photograph,” and it all made one thing clear: After more than 175 years of photography, freezing a moment in time for posterity remains as powerful as recounting it in video — and, sometimes, even more so. Some other Photographers compared it to Joe Rosenthal’s AP photo of U.S. Marines raising the American flag on Iwo Jima in World War II — an image so memorable to so many that it inspired a memorial. “Already one of the most iconic photographs in American history — and one that I suspect will propel Donald Trump back to the White House,” British journalist Piers Morgan wrote on X. This is a photo that has already been used in countless newspapers, magazines, online, TV, and probably soon in books, and maybe even end up in a museum, or an art gallery!
Many people are now saying that Donald Trump is a warrior and an amazing tough fighter, and that nothing can stop him, including constant political attacks, 2 impeachments, many lawsuits and court cases, “law-fare,” and now even being shot at in a horrendous failed assassination attempt!
The last US President that was shot at, was more than 40 years ago, in March of 1981, when President Ronald Reagan who was leaving a speech in Washington, D.C., and walking to his motorcade was shot by John Hinckley Jr., who said he did it “to impress Actress Jody Foster,” but President Reagan ended up surviving the attempted assassination!
There have been 4 Presidents in US history that have been shot in a successful Assassination. The US Secret Service has the duty and responsibility of protecting presidents, former presidents, and candidates for the office, with the last successful presidential assassination on November 22, 1963- when President John F. Kennedy was shot in Dallas, Texas, and it was his younger brother: Robert Kennedy who in 1968 was a candidate running for President, right after he had won the Democratic party nomination for President, was also tragically shot dead in the historic Landmark Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles on Wilshire Blvd, which is only a few blocks from our Entertainment Today TV office- also on Wilshire Blvd. There is a memorial to Robert Kennedy in front of the hotel on Wilshire Blvd. This was the last time there was a successful assassination of a candidate running for President.
Robert Kennedy Jr. who was running for President on the 2024 Independent party ticket, had said that for some reason his Secret Service protection was pulled by the Democrats, when he really needs it, since both his Uncle: President John F Kennedy, and father: Robert Kennedy were both assassinated! There has been a lot of tragic deaths in Robert Kennedy’s family, so he should have been given full Secret Service protection when he was running for President, as should other former Presidents, and other candidates running for office.
What the JFK assassination and the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump last night, both have in common is that the Assassins have both been shot and killed, so we may never learn the complete story, as after the JFK assassination the Warren Commission’s 1st. report first stated that there was only one assassin who took all the shots, with 1 “magic bullet” that did the killing, and there was no conspiracy, but then their 2nd report stated that “it was highly probable that there was a conspiracy,” which despite having many theories, to this day we still don’t know the whole truth! Robert Kennedy Jr also said for reasons that the general public can not know: he doesn’t want the full Warren Commission released! However, everyone may learn a lot about the JFK assassination- that may be of use for the protection of other Presidents, and other candidates running for other political offices- including Donald Trump.

I met him 3 times: at a Business Convention in Beverly Hills, the Writers Guild Awards with his wife – Actress Cheryl Hines, in Century City, California, and with the 1st time being when we both were a lot younger, at the Bakersfield Business Conference, with me on the right of the photo:
It is now a by-partisan consensus that this current assassination attempt may have been caused by extreme rhetoric, personal attacks, and terrible words from both sides, and it all needs to stop immediately, to lower the temperature, cool off, make peace, and stop fighting so that something like this never happens again. Both sides must try and come together and work things out.
The Assassin: Thomas Matthew Crooks had rudimentary bomb-making material at his home and in his vehicle, and he had purchased 50 rounds of ammunition from a gun store in Bethel Park, Pennsylvania. Law enforcement is now searching his home to search for evidence to find out who else may have been involved, and who may have helped the Assassin out. The FBI stressed that its investigation is being treated as both an assassination attempt and potential domestic terrorism, and added that it has conducted nearly 100 interviews with law enforcement personnel, event attendees and other witnesses. The AR-style 556 rifle used by the shooter was legally purchased by his father and officials said there was no indication that the suspect suffered from any mental health issues. Thomas Matthew Crooks, was a 20-year-old nursing-home employee from suburban Pittsburgh. He was a member of a local gun club, and a former classmate said that he had tried out for the high school rifle team but didn’t make it!
As apposed to most other assassinations and attempted assassinations – which were done by lone Assassin nut jobs, Thomas was a highly skilled marksman, just like JFK’s Assassin: Lee Harvey Oswald. Thomas’s shot was from about 130 yards away from his Target- Donald Trump, which is a much more difficult shot than the one that Oswald took, that was much more closer to his target- President John F Kennedy, so with those kind of skills he probably isn’t just a lone nut, so there is a good chance that this may have been politically motivated, just like the JFK assassination, and there may be more people involved- making this a conspiracy! But the investigation by law enforcement is not over yet- and we have no idea what the final truth may be, or even worst we may never find out the whole story if the Assassin and any of his accomplices were smart enough in their planing, and would never leave enough evidence for law enforcement to find.
President Biden said the shooter’s motivations were still unclear, and urged Americans to reject politically motivated violence . . “There is no place in America for this kind of violence, for any violence, ever. Period. No exceptions. We can’t allow this violence to become normalized,” President Biden said. “The political rhetoric in this country has gotten very heated. It’s time to cool it down. We all have a responsibility to do that.” President Biden spoke to Donald Trump, and called him Donald, as he gave his well wishes, and made a strong point of his concern for peace, and the safety of Donald, with no more violence.
So everyone hopes that by law enforcement working together, we might have those questions answered, so with the FBI leading the way, and the Department of Homeland Security, Domestic terrorism agents, other Federal agencies, and Pennsylvania State and local Police and other investigators, along with the Secret Service, and witnesses at the rally, and other locations, we may learn the whole truth very soon, but in the mean time we ask you for your prayers for those that were killed and severely injured, and to pray for peace, and for everyone in government to work together as one- so that both sides can come together for the people of the United States! Remember that the leaders of the world are watching all of this, so we must stop the fighting and make peace, so that people all over the world may look at us in a better light!
