My friend Ken drove all the way done from Modesto – for this 5 day experience! So I treated him to the award winning Black & Blue Restaurant– for an incredible gourmet dinner, where they served an amazing Filet Mignon steak:

and then a delicious German Chocolate Cake, that is the biggest slice you ever saw! I can always eat a lot of food, but this cake is so big, rich and filling that I could not finish it! Everyone of my friends that has had this giant sized cake- could not finish it either, so the Restaurant packs it in a box for you to take it home:
Right when you walk in they serve you nuts, cheese, and olives, and then their own fresh made hot bread, with their own special brand of unique high end butter- that you cannot find anywhere else. Any other restaurant has basic butter- but here it is more like a special dessert. It tastes so good! This has been voted the best Gourmet Restaurant for Steak & Seafood in San Diego, and has amazing service, with the finest food !! Hope to see you all at Black & Blue very soon!
