The 69th Writers Guild of America Awards honor the best in film, television, radio and video-game writing of 2016. The Nominees , Presenters ,and Winners walked down the red carpet for interviews , then enjoyed the dinner award show, and stopped by backstage to talk to the press. The event was held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel, Beverly Hills, California.
It was a star studded night with many stars that appeared there, and to mention just a few: Jeff Goldblum , and William H. Macy . Some of the winners were Fred Armisen , and Aaron Sorkin who won the WGA award for TV Writing Achievment , with the big award of the evening going to Oliver Stone , who was presented The Laurel Award for Screenwriting Achievement , by James Woods.
